Dateline NBC interviews super investor Vinod Khosla on his vision of how E85 can supplant gasoline in 5 years.

A simple solution to pain at the pump? Greener and cheaper, ethanol could fuel rural America — and won't feed Mideast terrorism

Stone Phillips of NBC's Dateline interviews Vinod Khosla, who has become one of the most high profile ethanol proponents and investor and travels with him to Brazil to find out how they have become completely energy independent by embracing Flex Fuel vehicles and E85 ethanol. In Brazil, every Ford, Chevy, Chrysler, Audi, Volkswagon and Toyota (all cars) sold must be Flex Fuel capable.

A trip to the pump in Brazil faces the consumer with a nice choice. At a quick glance they can check the price for gasoline as well as E85 and make the choice of either. All new vehicles in Brazil give consumers the ability to make this choice, and all fuel pumps in Brazil are equipped with E85 fuel.
